Membership Types

The itSMF Australia currently offers the following membership categories:

• Individual

• Student

• Corporate

• Vendor

Individual Membership

Individual membership is suitable for independent consultants and people employed in an organisation that is not yet ready to embrace a department wide focus on implementing quality IT Service Management.

• First Year $211.20 (GST inclusive)

• Second and subsequent years $176.00 (GST inclusive)

Student Membership

Is offered to full time students in an ITSM related course and provides the benefits as individual but is discounted in light of your student status. Proof of your enrolment and attendance at the course may be required. Student membership is available for the same length of time as the course you are enrolled in typically runs for.

• Annual Rate $105.60 (GST inclusive)

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is designed for organisations that operate an internal IT function providing service to that organisation alone. Typically, there would be a discrete set of technology, processes and people involved - even if some or all of the day to day running is performed by and/or outsourced to a third party service provider.

An example might be a specific Government department or site, a local authority, a small company or a subsidiary of a large organisation running its own IT services.

To cater for organisations of all sizes, itSMF Australia offers the following levels of Corporate Membership:

• Corporate 5

• Corporate 10

• Corporate 25

• Corporate 50

• Corporate 100

A corporate account can include up to 200 contacts but they will always only have 1 primary contact. The primary contact manages your online account including adding and removing contacts and changing address details. The individuals who utilise the seminar tickets may vary quarter to quarter but the number of free tickets is set by the membership type.

Additional seminar tickets can be purchased at the discount member rate of $39.60 per person for any contact.

Vendor Membership

Is a prerequisite for any vendor wishing to utilise the forum to promote their services to our members. Vendors recieve all the same benefits as corporates as many choose to send staff to seminars for their own education and networking. Vendors may engage in any of the 3 following methods:

Strategic Partner: Make a commitment to the forum at the start of the year, indicating how they provide member benefits through sponsorship and non sponsorship opportunities. These can include working with the forum to help grow the services or information available to members, contra style contributions such as hardware or software for the national office, shared research facilities and projects.

Industry Associate: Make regular contributions of sponsorship to seminars or the conference and provide input on an ad hoc basis for the promotion and running of the forum.

Casual: Vendors who purchase sponsorship opportunities intermittently.
