VeriS    VeriSM™ - Service Management for the Digital Age

Session outline:

VeriSM™ is intended to help organisations understand and respond to the challenges of service management in the digital age. It creates a service management model in which all of the organisations' capabilities and responsibilities are deployed in the delivery of superior service.

In October 2017, itSMF International announced that it had signed an agreement for a Memorandum of Understanding on areas of cooperation with the International Foundation for Digital Competences (iFDC) in relation to the introduction of VeriSM™.

During this session we will hear where VeriSM™ fits with ITIL, DevOps & ISO/IEC 20000 and how the VeriSM™ model intends to put digital thinking first to address a gap in capability for organisations that want to improve service across their entire organisation?

Certifications for VeriSM™ will soon be available through APMG Accredited Training Organisations in Australia and New Zealand. We will also hear what is compelling APMG International to now included VeriSM™ in its list of global certifications.

Presenter:  Lawrie Kirk

This presentation will be led by Lawrie Kirk from APMG International’s Canberra office.  Joining by videoconference will be Stephan Brendel (APMG Europe Regional Manager) and Estelle Hicks-Bennett (APMG Marketing Campaign Manager) to provide attendees with additional information on VeriSM™, how it can improve service delivery and also an outline of current trends in Europe and the UK.
