"IT-SVM Essential Class & Certification"  Delegates $795 + gst and Non-Delegates $995 + gst

IT-SVM is an easy to learn management methodology focused on resource optimization, targeted service improvements, and communicating the Business Value of IT services to the business and customers.  It's proven extremely helpful in making the Service Strategy and Continual Service Improvement titles actionable.  For many organizations, it helps facilitate the transition from ITSM to BSM. We specialize in IT Service Value Management (IT-SVM) training and consulting within BSM/ITSM market.  In addition to being selected as the exclusive pre-conference training in New Zealand, our IABSM accredited IT-SVM Essentials curriculum is the only IT-SVM training that was selected for the itSMF USA Fusion conference later this year.

All HOT TOPIC PANEL Sessions and Keynotes are held in Plenary 3.

Session Presentations are based on real world experience and include many case studies from all types of industries and organisations presented in five streams.

"Real ITSM    Rob England, The IT Skeptic

Service management is so last decade. Take a look at what themes will be hot in IT management in the 20-teens. The IT Skeptic takes a typically eccentric and irreverent view of the near future in IT.

"IT Root Cause Analysis"    Mat-Thys Fourie, Thinking Dimensions

Proficient thinking skills help avoid unnecessary and expensive fixes by using a step-by-step thinking approach to detect, analyse, resolve and prevent incidents. Due to the highly specialised disciplines in Infrastructure, Database, Networking, Development and Design, these professionals often lack a common approach across silos to solve problems effectively. Root Cause Analysis applied to all IT disciplines is most effective in merging varied skills in a common process and language to resolve incidents.  A "problem solving" IT workforce will reduce operating costs, resolve duplication, drastically reduce Incident Investigation cycle time, identify and resolve both the True and Root Cause(s) of an incident, leverage observations to cut to the core problem, support ITIL Problem Management philosophy and practices, and reduce the upward cascading of incident and problem resolution responsibilities.
